The Ashoka U Exchange is co-hosted by Sullivan Foundation partner school George Mason University, and its theme will be “Rising to the Challenge: Ordinary People Together Making Extraordinary Change.”
More than 400 faculty, staff, administrators, students and thought leaders will come together to accelerate social innovation and changemaking through higher education. Offering networking events, peer huddles, regional meetings and discipline-specific content, the Exchange is a place for meaningful connections that live on beyond the conference.
Regardless of where they come from, all Ashoka U Exchange attendees share:
- The belief that colleges and universities must support student changemakers
- A passion for social impact and innovation
- A drive to embed social innovation and changemaking at their institutions
- An enthusiasm for leading institutional change on their campus
Ashoka U has also released a new publication, “Becoming a Changemaker Institution,” now available as an ebook or in PDF format for $99. The book draws on Ashoka U’s decade of insights and work with more than 600 higher education institutions around the world. It provides 300-plus pages of strategies, campus examples and actions for campus innovators who are ready to transform their institutions. Click here to purchase your copy today!
