What if I don’t know what my goals are?
This is the place for you! Some students in the cohort might have a clear picture of how they want to grow, but it’s not required. We want to meet you where you are, walk beside you as you clarify your desired areas of growth, and help hold you accountable to making progress on your journey – whatever it looks like.
This sounds like another commitment - I think I’m too busy...
The Coaching Cohort is intended to support what’s already on your plate – not add to it. We’ll help you clarify how to best take care of your current responsibilities and understand which habits can help you grow from wherever you are. Getting your core habits figured out is the first step to igniting change in your community.
What is the time commitment?
About 1 hour per week. We encourage you to participate in our ongoing discussion on Slack. Daily, there are optional 15-minute check-ins to provide additional encouragement and support. Additionally, expect to put in 15-20 minutes a day making progress on your goals.
How do we connect?
We believe people grow by taking action and learning from real experiences. The Coaching Cohort is designed to help you clarify the next right things to do, encourage you to do them, and reflect with you on what worked, what didn’t, and what needs to change.
We also believe people learn from the experiences of others – which is why we have a weekly call and optional daily check-ins where your peers share their stories and learnings. Community is formed when people engage in noble and challenging work together.
We believe public accountability encourages people to stick to your commitments and pushes them to grow in ways they might not alone. This is why we’re doing this together and why each week you’ll publicly commit to the goals you’ll accomplish by the next week.
