Summit sessions are not conference paper presentations or panels of speakers. While these have their merits, the Summit is designed to engage faculty and staff in hands-on activities that they can bring back to their classroom or program. We are looking for these types of proposal in particular:
BEST PRACTICES (BP): a brief presentation focused on audience engagement; it should introduce an in-class exercise, assignment, group project, co-curricular program or activity, or anything else you think would help faculty and staff engage students in the world of social entrepreneurship and innovation. BP sessions may be combined with others in a round-robin or panel format, and should take about 15-20 minutes to complete.
WORKSHOP (WS): A more robust or complete exercise or learning activity. These also should be hands-on and introduce faculty and staff to innovative ways to engage students. WS sessions may take 60-90 minutes.
OTHER: Do you have an idea for something different that doesn’t fit in the above categories? Let us know – we are open to all ideas!
