Sullivan Showcase

Our annual “Celebration of Service” is an opportunity to thank our partner schools and recognize regional impact through their communites and in our alumni.

Each year we host this gala in appreciation of our partner schools, faculty & staff, and award recipients.

We partner with regional host schools to honor individuals in their campus communities, as well as present our life-time achievement award, The Sullivan Luminary Award, to a prior student Sullivan Award recipient.

Partner schools and alumni can host tables or purchase indiviual seating. Seating is limited and pre-registration is required.

Join Us for a Weekend of Celebration, Connection, and Service!

We’re thrilled to honor a century of partnership between The Algernon Sydney Sullivan Foundation and the University of South Carolina—100 years of recognizing and inspiring lives of integrity, character, and selfless service.

Since 1926, our two organizations have come together to celebrate individuals who embody service above self. As we look toward the next 100 years, we’re inspired by the call to nurture compassionate leaders and changemakers who make a difference in their communities and beyond.

This special weekend will bring together past Sullivan Award recipients, students, alumni, and friends of USC for reflection, reconnection, and service.

Join us as we celebrate 100 years of Algernon Sydney Sullivan Medallions. In partnership with Mercer University, this celebration will mark the medallion being presented on Mercer’s campus for 100 years.

All past award recipients are invited to attend. We will present our annual faculty and staff awards, as well as our 2026 Luminary Award. Nominations for Luminary awards can be made up until Dec. 1, 2026.
