We offer two alumni gathering opportunities each year: The Sullivan Showcase and Fall Alumni Reception. We also host pop-up alumni gatherings and invite you to host a group of alumni in your city!
We encourage all past Algernon Sydney Sullivan and Mary Mildred Award recipients, scholarship recipients or Sullivan Fellows to attend these events. This is a great way to network with each other and continue service projects in your community.

Join us for our annual “Celebration of Service”.
Each year we host this gala in appreciation of our partner schools, faculty & staff, and award recipients.
We partner with regional host schools to honor faculty and staff on their campuses, as well as present our life-time achievement award, The Sullivan Luminary Award, to a prior student Sullivan Award recipient.
All past award recipients are invited to attend each year, along with partner school representatives and community partners. Seating is limited and pre-registration is required.

Every fall we hold a Foundation Board meeting and host an alumni gathering within a city in the region. We also plan and host smaller alumni gatherings throughout the American South. See upcoming locations and dates below and make plans to connect with other alumni!

Summer NYC Alumni Gathering
We are excited to host a pre-interest gathering for our past award recipients and program students in New York City this summer. This will be a wonderful way to connect with other alumni before our 100 year reception in early fall. This event will be a casual happy hour. Please bring a guest and learn more about opportunities in NYC!

Vanderbilt University-The Peabody College of Education
Join us as we celebrate 100 years of Algernon Sydney Sullivan Medallions. In partnership with Vanderbilt’s Peabody College of Education, the first-ever Sullivan award school, this celebration will mark the beginning of southern colleges and universities joining The Foundation to honor humble servants on their campus. We plan to travel to the next seven partner schools celebrating 100 years, including Mercer University, Rollins College, University of Virginia and more. Stay tuned!
