By the end of the training, you’ll feel fully equipped to redesign your campus efforts using facilitation tools.
The training will offer you time to practically apply the techniques alongside colleagues and tailor them to your work. As a bonus, all participants will receive a toolkit of some of our favorite facilitation tools and card decks.

Kick the weekend off at the Ignite Retreat and connect with colleagues and alumni from across the Sullivan network.

9:15 – 12:15p
The first half of the day will teach you an overview on facilitation techniques (such as Liberating Structures or Art of Hosting) and let you practice leading them with the group.
2:15 – 4:15p
In the afternoon, you’ll spend time figuring out how to embed the techniques into specific classes and programs you are running.

$450 per faculty or staff
All tickets include:
- Meals (Fri dinner – Sun lunch)
- Housing (Fri – Sun)
- Facilitation toolkit and training materials
Refund Policy:
- 2 weeks out – no refund for canceling
- If sick beforehand – anyone displaying covid symptoms in the days leading up to the retreat are asked not to attend, and can redeem their ticket for the following Ignite Retreat instead.

This event takes place concurrently with the Ignite Retreat.
There will be two tracks happening at Ignite:
- Level 1: Faculty and Staff Track // For those who want to recharge and reconnect with members of the Sullivan network, ideal for first-time participants.
- Level 2: Faculty Facilitator Training // For those who want advanced training on how to incorporate experiential facilitation techniques into your classroom.
To sign-up, participants will register for the Ignite Retreat and select the “Level 2: Faculty Facilitator Training” track as an add-on in the sign-up form. There is no additional cost to attend the training but participants are expected to be fully present for the workshops.
